Armour digivolve!
The unusual golden DigiEgg, one of miracles, changes V-Mon into a form of limitless potential - Magnamon!
Magnamon has been on my most-wanted list to paint, as his gold armour is something I've had a ton of ideas for in terms of expressing. Generally, I wanted to bring across gold as a substance and not as a shiny metallic yellow, which virtually every single painting of him has understandably done.
To this end, I used texture very, very heavily - but also in discretion. It was much harder to paint than I expected, in terms of making sure the texture, chrome hues and specularity worked in conjunction.
